Things You’ll Need to De-Wrinkle Your Cotton Jeans, Fast
- Iron

Step 1-Iron your jeans to release wrinkles.
Fill an iron’s internal reservoir with water. Set the iron to the hottest temperature setting.
Lay the jeans flat on the ironing board. While pressing the steam button, iron the front and back of the jeans.

Step 2- Spritz jeans with a wrinkle-relaxant.
Place your cotton jeans on a pants hanger on lay them flat on a table. Spritz a wrinkle-releasing spray on your jeans.
Tug the jeans while spraying them with the product to release the wrinkles. Allow the fabric to dry completely.
Step 3 -Apply steam from the shower to smooth out your denim.
Turn on the hot water in your shower. Let steam fill the bathroom.
Hang your jeans near the shower. As the jeans dampen, stretch and pull the fabric to release the wrinkles.
Step 4 -Blast your damp denim with a blow dryer.
Lay your denim jeans on a flat surface. Spray the wrinkles with water from a spray bottle.
Turn the dryer on to a warm setting. Pull and tug the fabric as your place the dyer dryer over the denim to remove any wrinkles.
Step 5-Use the washer and dryer to make your cotton jeans wrinkle-free.
Wash your jeans with detergent, in cold water, and then stretch the legs and waistband to prevent shrinkage.
If your jeans are not dirty, use a spray bottle to spritz water over the wrinkles before placing them in the dryer.
Machine-dry them on a cool setting for ten minutes, or less, to release the wrinkles.
Hang your jeans immediately after tumbling them in the dryer to keep them wrinkle-free.
Do’s and Don’ts to Unwrinkle Your Jeans
- Shake your jeans out before transferring them from the washer to the dryer. A pair of balled-up denim takes longer to dry and may come out of the dryer with wrinkles.
- To prevent shine on the outside of your dark-colored denim, iron the jeans inside out.
